Outsourcing the helpdesk

Providing an IT support service to an internal and remote user base with a diversity of PC/Laptop standards, bespoke, internal and hosted applications would always be challenging to an IT department.  This is the situation that one of our clients was faced with.  After evaluating various support models, they decided to use an outsourced partner, selecting i3Q Systems Limited to take on the responsibility for providing IT PC/Laptop support to users throughout the UK.

Since partnering with us, we are now responsible for providing support to both internal and remote users for all aspects of their IT usage from laptops to mobile devices and all hardware and software in between.  In addition, we are responsible for the support of the internal Network and remote VPN services.  We have also been able to provide other ad-hoc services as required including an internal network redesign, new test environment design and build as well cabling works, enabling us to show the flexibility that our offering provides and that we can deliver more than just standard support operations to their business.

We have become an integral part of the team, providing a dedicated resource on a rota-basis to ensure that all of our support function are aware of the clients own processes and are also involved in all IT decisions to ensure that the future road-map is met in the most efficient way possible.
